Albert Terrien de Lacouperie (1844-1894) est un éminent orientaliste qui nous offre ici une petite notice sur les statues géantes de Corée et notamment sur celle de Un-jin, ou Eun-jin, et aujourd'hui accolée au temple de Gwanchoksa, à quelques 2 heures au sud de Séoul. On appelait ces statues représentant Buddha pour la plupart, des miryeks, en français des mireuks. Albert Terrien of Lacouperie (1844-1894) is an eminent orientalist who offers us here a small notice on the giant statues of Korea and especially that of Un-jin, or Eun-jin, and now at the temple of Gwanchoksa, about 2 hours south of Seoul.
